The Celebration Horse Show Welcomes Spectators With 11 Days of Fun and Excitement

Hundreds of the finest American Quarter Horses descend on Las Vegas July 1 – 11 to compete in the prestigious EMO Western States Championships and The Celebration AQHA horse shows. The shows are held at the extraordinary South Point Equestrian Center, the finest indoor horse facility in the country. Professional, amateur and youth riders will exhibit their horses in a variety of western and english style disciplines. There are speed events including Barrel Racing and Pole Bending and classes such as Trail and Western Riding that require the utmost finesse and communication between horse and rider.

Spectators love the heart-stopping action of the Cutting classes as well as the incredible spins and sliding stops of the reiners. Working Cow Horse classes demonstrate a horse’s smoothness in the reining portion of the class then show off their “cow sense” and agility as they work a single cow in the arena through a series of turns, circles and stops. The exquisite beauty of these equine athletes takes the spotlight in the Halter and Showmanship classes where they are presented in-hand rather than being ridden. Classes begin at 7:30 AM and will continue all day in both the main arena and in the Priefert Pavilion.

There are no admission fees for the family-friendly event. Arena seating offers a comfortable place to watch all the action. Spectators can also browse the shopping expo with unique vendors overflowing with apparel, home decor,   artwork, gifts, jewelry, boots, hats, horse tack and barn essentials.
